Fasteners for Equipment Foundations & Base Plates

Prepare foundation fixing enquiries with approved anchor-rod geometry, base-plate interfaces, thread projection, matching hardware, material, finish and order records.

Prepare your project enquiry

Send the approved foundation and equipment-interface drawings with the requested fasteners. Separate cast-in anchor rods from post-installed anchoring systems and list each order line clearly. The responsible designer controls anchorage selection, embedment, layout and installation; our quotation follows the agreed part and documentation requirements.

Separate the fixing systems

Identify cast-in anchor rods, a selected post-installed anchor system, or another approved detail. Give the exact reference and drawing revision. Foundation anchorage and steel-to-steel structural bolt assemblies have different specification contexts; do not substitute one on the basis of a similar diameter.

Dimension the anchor rod and mating plate

For anchor rods, provide the controlled shape, overall length, specified embedment, projection, threaded portion and any bend or plate detail. Include the relevant base-plate thickness, hole/interface information and required nut/washer arrangement. These are drawing inputs, not dimensions calculated from the scene image.

Define material, finish and acceptance

State the governing specification/edition, grade or material designation, permitted finish and coating extent where relevant. Identify inspection documents, lot markings and sample-review requirements. Any proposed material, geometry or finish change must be reviewed before it is accepted.

Coordinate packing with site identification

List quantities by drawing and size, whether matching hardware must stay together and the required project/order-line labels. State the destination, packing constraints and requested delivery sequence. Special templates or additional fabricated parts require their own controlled drawings and supply confirmation.

Common purchasing questions

Can an anchor be selected just from the base-plate photograph?

No. The scene is representative, not a design or installation drawing. Use the approved foundation detail and selected anchor reference; it does not establish embedment, spacing or capacity.

Are cast-in rods and post-installed anchors interchangeable?

Do not assume interchangeability. Identify the approved fixing system and request designer review before proposing a different system or geometry.

Should nuts and washers be included in the enquiry?

State the complete required arrangement and whether they are supplied together or separately. Include the references, finish and packing requirements for matching hardware.

The approved project specification controls product selection and acceptance. This application guide does not calculate loads, prescribe installation or prove a project approval.
