Identify the fastening system
Name the specified anchor family and exact product reference when available. Wedge, sleeve and drop-in products have different forms and installation requirements. If alternatives are allowed, say that they require project approval.
Describe the base material
Provide the substrate, condition, relevant strength and member thickness required by the design. Identify any special service or approval conditions. Data for one selected anchor cannot be presumed valid for another product.
Provide the connection detail
