Choose the drawing-defined shape
Identify L-shaped, J-shaped or straight rods. Include bend, hook or end-anchorage details rather than treating the shapes as interchangeable. Specify the drawing number and revision so quotations refer to the same design.
Separate overall and threaded dimensions
Provide rod diameter, overall length and the measuring convention. Define threaded length at each end, exposed projection and any smooth section. For bent rods, include leg lengths, angle and bend radius; for curved rods, include the hook geometry.
Name the material requirement
Where ASTM F1554 is required, state the grade and project revision. The standard covers relevant straight and bent anchor rods; it is not the specification for mechanical expansion anchors. Other projects may use a different material or product requirement.
Include accessories and finish extent
List nuts, washers, plates and templates included in the order. Define the coating and the length to be coated. Ask for confirmation where coating affects mating threads rather than leaving that point implicit.
Attach the foundation requirements
Provide inspection, marking and packing requirements along with the quantity by size. Anchorage capacity and embedment belong to the approved foundation design; a product quotation is not a replacement for that design.

Replace the bracketed fields with your approved requirements. This is an order-brief format, not a stock offer or design recommendation.

Technical reference
ASTM F1554 identifies anchor-rod requirements, not mechanical expansion-anchor requirements. Use the project-required grade and revision.
