Product and application brief
Send the washer reference or a dimensioned drawing, particularly when the hole, outside diameter or thickness is special. Include the mating fastener and required bearing arrangement so different washer forms are not confused.
Specification checklist for quotation
These are the inputs needed to review an enquiry, not a guaranteed stock range or a substitute for an approved specification.
| Requirement | What to specify |
|---|---|
| Geometry | Inside diameter, outside diameter and thickness |
| Reference | Washer standard / revision or drawing tolerances |
| Material | Specified metal and any required hardness |
| Finish | Surface treatment, coating extent and final dimensions |
| Assembly | Mating fastener, required washer count and bearing arrangement |
| Order | Quantity, inspection records, packing and destination |
Selection and compatibility
A flat outline does not establish a hardened or structural washer requirement. Where a specific hardness or structural reference is required, identify it separately.
This washer is not presented as a locking device or a connection-capacity upgrade. Selection and the bearing arrangement remain part of the approved assembly requirements.
Can flat washers be quoted from a sample?
A sample can help identify the form, but provide measured dimensions, material and finish requirements and any acceptance criteria. Agree the controlled specification before ordering.
Prepare your order brief
Attach a controlled drawing or complete product reference and list quantities by size. Define the required inspection, packaging and delivery destination. Mark unresolved details for confirmation instead of assuming a substitute. We review availability, finish, MOQ and production timing against the actual enquiry before the order is agreed.
