Shackle enquiries should identify body shape, pin arrangement and intended service. Connection hardware and rated lifting equipment must not be treated as the same purchasing requirement.
State whether the part is for lifting, load securement or a non-lifting connection. For lifting, specify the required rated product, working load limit and documentation approved for the lifting arrangement.

Selection and compatibility
Shackles provide a different connection function from turnbuckles or wire rope clips. Select the component that matches the approved rigging arrangement.
No lifting rating is assigned by the website drawing or nominal shackle diameter. Load direction, assembly conditions and the selected product's warnings matter; use the approved rigging plan and product documentation.
Prepare the order brief
Send a controlled drawing or complete product reference, plus quantities by size. Identify the inspection reports, packaging and shipping requirements needed for your order. If a requirement is not settled, mark it as needing confirmation rather than assuming a substitute.

Are all shackles suitable for lifting?
No. A lifting enquiry must identify an appropriately rated product and the required certification and application conditions. Generic connection hardware is not presumed suitable.
