Wire rope clip enquiries must identify the rope and the specific clip design. A complete termination depends on the approved component and application instructions.
Provide rope diameter, construction and the intended termination use. State whether a U-bolt clip or another clip design is specified, and identify any governing product standard.

Selection and compatibility
Wire rope clips, shackles and turnbuckles serve different roles in a connection. Do not use a clip's appearance as evidence of a rated termination.
This page does not prescribe clip count, spacing or nut torque. Those requirements must come from the selected product's applicable instructions and the approved termination design. Suitability for a lifting application must be explicitly established.
Prepare the order brief
Send a controlled drawing or complete product reference, plus quantities by size. Identify the inspection reports, packaging and shipping requirements needed for your order. If a requirement is not settled, mark it as needing confirmation rather than assuming a substitute.

Can I select wire rope clips using only rope diameter?
