Product and application brief
Supply the selected stud drawing or product reference, the intended welding process and equipment requirements. Identify the base material and required post-weld geometry. A threaded shank alone does not define a compatible weld stud.
Specification checklist for quotation
These are the inputs needed to review an enquiry, not a guaranteed stock range or a substitute for an approved specification.
| Requirement | What to specify |
|---|---|
| Stud definition | Exact weld-stud form, reference / revision and welding-end geometry |
| Threaded portion | Thread system, diameter, pitch, tolerance and length |
| Weld process | Specified process and compatible equipment / accessories |
| Material and geometry | Stud material, base material and required finished dimensions |
| Verification | Approved welding procedure and required inspection evidence |
| Order | Quantity, supplied accessories, packing and destination |
Selection and compatibility
Threaded weld studs are not ordinary double-ended studs or headless threaded rods. Keep different stud forms and welding-process requirements on separate order lines.
This purchasing page is not a welding procedure or weld-capacity approval. It does not guarantee equipment compatibility, weld performance or a project certification; those points require the selected product and approved procedure.
Can I quote a weld stud using only its thread size?
No. Include the stud form, overall and threaded dimensions, material, welding process, equipment interface and required inspection. Attach the approved reference when available.
Prepare your order brief
Attach a controlled drawing or complete product reference and list quantities by size. Define the required inspection, packaging and delivery destination. Mark unresolved details for confirmation instead of assuming a substitute. We review availability, finish, MOQ and production timing against the actual enquiry before the order is agreed.
