A bonded receiver with a removable mating fastener
This family concerns a metal socket with an internal receiving thread, bonded into concrete as part of a selected adhesive system. It differs from an externally threaded adhesive anchor rod and from a mechanically expanded drop-in anchor. Specify the receiver and its system before comparing prices or substituting parts.
Separate component identity from system compatibility
| Selection field | What to provide |
|---|---|
| Metal receiver | The internal thread receives a specified screw or rod. The outside bonding surface and end geometry belong to the exact product/drawing; the illustration explains appearance only. |
| Manufacturer examples | fischer RG M I and Hilti HIS-N illustrate concrete bonded receiver families used with selected capsule or injection systems. Their family identifiers are not a shared dimensional standard or cross-brand compatibility statement. |
| Other sleeves | A perforated injection screen sleeve and a mechanical expansion sleeve serve different roles. Do not quote either as the metal internally threaded receiver without identifying the actual requested component. |
Injection and capsule relationships
An injection system introduces a specified mortar into the prepared hole; a capsule system follows its own selected installation sequence and compatible component/end requirements. These are system relationships, not instructions to install this generic illustrated part. Require the exact receiver, adhesive, concrete scope and document revision together.
No adhesive supply, SDS, current approval, brand authorization or project suitability is established here. Do not choose hole size, penetration, cure period, tightening torque or load from the image. Installation and design acceptance belong to the responsible project and selected-system documents.
Quotation fields
| Selection field | What to provide |
|---|---|
| Socket identity | Exact product variant or controlled drawing/revision; identify the metal internally threaded receiver, not a perforated resin screen sleeve. |
| Selected adhesive system | Named mortar or capsule and exact compatible socket documents. Injection and capsule systems are not interchangeable by appearance or thread size. |
| Concrete and project | Actual concrete/member condition, fixture location and responsible project design. Solid and hollow-core members require separate assessment; no hollow-core suitability is assumed. |
| Receiving thread | Thread designation, pitch/TPI, mating screw or rod, permitted engagement and fixture requirements from selected documents. A blind receiving bore is not unrestricted screw travel. |
| Body and end form | Drawing dimensions, length datums, tolerances, bonding surface and distal end. Knurled and ribbed bodies or capsule-driving ends are not automatic substitutes. |
| Installation documents | Selected-system drilling, cleaning, dispensing/setting, cure and fastening instructions. No universal hole diameter, embedment, curing time, torque, load or tool compatibility is supplied. |
| Order and evidence | Specified material/finish/exposure, quantity, packing, destination and requested documentation. Socket-only, mating hardware and adhesive supply are separate scopes requiring confirmation. |
Product identifiers are not generic standards
RG M I and HIS-N identify manufacturer families. Their catalogue dimensions, materials and assessment scopes are not specifications or compliance promises for a different FastenerBridge enquiry. An internal metric thread does not establish the resin match, anchorage performance or permitted engagement. Confirm the actual requested drawing/product and necessary evidence.
Common product questions
Is this a mechanical drop-in anchor?
No. A bonded receiver belongs to a selected adhesive system. A mechanically expanded internal-thread sleeve uses a different setting mechanism; matching threads do not make them interchangeable.
Can any resin or capsule be used?
No. Require the exact socket and adhesive combination, substrate scope and current selected-system instructions. Manufacturer examples do not authorize cross-brand substitution.
Does this enquiry include adhesive or an approval?
Not automatically. Resin supply, SDS, qualification and actual order scope remain unverified until specifically confirmed. Manufacturer references are not FastenerBridge certification or stock evidence.
