Countersunk Structural Bolt Assemblies

Countersunk-head structural bolt and nut enquiries with exact HR assembly reference and drawing-defined head, shank and thread requirements.

Assembly identity before dimensions

EN 14399-7:2018 identifies System HR countersunk bolt and nut assemblies for preloading. The German catalogue adoption is DIN EN 14399-7:2019-06; that national publication date does not change the EN edition to 2019. These references identify a family, not FastenerBridge product qualification.

Countersunk head and length datum

The form has a circular head with a conical underside, a straight transverse slot, a plain shank and a threaded end. It is not an internal-hex countersunk screw. Specify head geometry and the countersink on the mating part from the controlled drawing; do not assume that an ordinary countersunk bolt is a structural assembly.

The maker reference identifies a head-inclusive length datum. State that datum explicitly rather than substituting an under-head length from a hex-bolt enquiry. Supply the required thread region and plain-shank definition separately.

Matching components and project review

Identify the complete assembly reference, revision, bolt and nut requirements, any required washers, finish and order-specific documentation. Keep HR, HV, ASTM and drawing-defined requirements distinct. Components from different systems or makers are not assumed interchangeable.

Enquiry fields

ComponentsBolt, nut and any washer requirements as a defined assembly.

Selection boundaries

No dimensions, tolerances, tightening torque, preload, working load, tool compatibility or installation procedure are prescribed here. The illustration is not a scaled drawing. Supply, conformity and documentation require order-specific confirmation; a standard catalogue entry does not certify a supplied assembly.

Source identities and limitations

Manufacturer drawings were checked for form only. No numerical dimension or tolerance table is reproduced. Final requirements follow the agreed controlled drawing and project specification.
